MEI Announce New Guide Sleeve Kits based on Fleet Operator feedback.
A combination of adverse weather and operating conditions put the short open pin into an extreme environment causing it to fail. Feedback from the workshops showed that in the majority of cases only the Short Pin was replaced as the sealed Long Pin remained in good working order. To enable quicker and more cost effective service of the Guide Pins MEI has launched its Half-Kit range. The kits include all the parts to service the Short Pin as well as the Bolt and End Cap on the Long Pin that are removed to carry out the service.
